May 2009 My husband and I decided to decorate each cupcake differently, using only red, white, and blue frosting and candy. Here's what we came up with:
I started making and decorating cupcakes for fun after receiving Hello, Cupcake! as a birthday present. I usually start with the basic idea from that book or other blogs and websites, and then add my own creativity. I began first by making cupcakes for different occasions, and then started asking to make them for just the cost of the materials. Even though I enjoy the few hours it takes to create the cupcakes, I enjoy more seeing the people receive them and eat them, especially the little kids! A specially-designed cupcake can bring a smile to anyone's face!
